How does the service work?
Storage
- You book over the phone or online
- We deliver the storage shell to your chosen location where you can keep it for 1-2 days.
- You load your belongs or we load using our Pack 4U service
- We collect the shell and take it to our high security warehouse where we then store your cartridge (this is the inner container/cage; we do not store the full trailer).
- Contact us via phone or online to book a return and we will deliver it back to you.

How soon can I get the service?
We provide our services 7 days a week, surcharges may apply for weekends. We are closed on public holidays and there is a limited service over the Christmas and New Year period. We recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

How can I pay for this service?
We accept, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Diners, BOPO and Pre-paid Visa. If you do not have a credit card please contact our customer service centre.

Do you supply packing materials for storage / removals?
Yes, we can email an order form to you, once this is completed and returned to our office the packing supplies will be delivered to you before the service. For removals job / pack 4 u you can order blankets / straps and we can bring them on your delivery date. Please contact our customer service team for more information or to book.

Is there anything I need to do once I have booked and paid for the service?
- Small items must be placed in boxes.
- Breakables wrapped in bubble wrap/padding.
- Our storage warehouse is very clean however we are unable to guarantee that your belongings will not get dusty (this applies to all storage facilities). Therefore please ensure that dust sensitive items, including all fabrics and untreated wood, are covered in dust sheets or protective plastic covers. Covers can be provided at an additional charge.
- All items must be secured and with no items protruding through the wire mess walls.
- Provide 2 pad locks, one for the rear door of the internal cartridge and one for the side door to ensuring your goods are secure in the warehouse.
- Remember your goods will be in transit so it is important to protect any furniture, white goods etc that may dent or scratch easily.

When do I get charged for the service?
Storage
You will be charged on the day before delivery of your trailer. Your next payment will be deducted from your credit card on the 1st of each month in advance.
Removal
Pack 4 U: You will be charged at the time of booking ½ hour travel cap and min 1 hour packing service with the Pack 4U team. Post removal service you will be charged for additional usage of the Pack 4U in half hour blocks.

Do you provide more than 10 m2 storage?
Our storage is a standard size of 10m2/20m3. This is approx the size of a single garage and can take approximately a 2 bedroom moderately furnished apartment. You can order more than one storage shell at a time.

When I sign up for a 12 month contract can I still pay monthly?
Yes, you will be charged in the same manner if you signed up for a month to month contact.

I want to cancel my 12 month contract for storage what is the termination process and fee?
You can cancel your 12 month contact, however a cancellation fee of $200 applies.

I have booked a storage/removal job and would like to cancel, what is the process?
You must cancel your booking no later than 2 working days before the booked date or cancellation fees may apply.

Can I insure my belonging while they are in storage?
Yes, Grace Self Storage can assist in insuring your belongings whilst outside your home and whilst in storage.

How long is the actual trailer so that I know how much space to reserve on the street outside my house?
The trailer is 6.2m long, 2.5m wide and 3.2m high, you will need approx 2 car spaces.

I do not have parking at my home can I still use your service?
Yes you can, additional charges may apply for driver standby.

What are the dimensions of the cartridge (internal storage space)?
The storage space is 2.1m high, 2.2m wide, 4.4m long, that is approx 10m2 or 20m3.

Can I access my storage at the warehouse?
Yes, providing we receive sufficient notice and charges apply.

Can the storage unit be sent to another state when retrieved and is there an additional cost?

I would like to have my goods returned. Do I get a refund for the balance of the month?
If you take your belongings out of storage mid-month you are still charged for the full month.

I would like to use your storage/removal service however I want to collect belongings from more than one location, is there additional charges for this?
Yes, you will be charged per additional location.

Are my goods insured while in transit?
We offer an Insurance Policy at an additional cost which protects you for certain risks – please talk to our customer service staff.
